We’ve had many different requests for our recommendation on a decent eating healthy documentary. The truth of the matter is that there are thousands of them floating about out there – a simple YouTube search bar should suffice.
The problem is that this YouTube search bar is much like any other search bar – it cannot really separate the misinformation from the ‘good stuff’. We have put this off for long enough so today we will introduce you to a few documentaries that are worth your time…
The Truth About Food
This is only the first part of this particular eating healthy documentary but it is nearly an hour in length. We found it very informative and extremely well filmed – this is not something an affiliate marketer has thrown together!
It follows various volunteers through various healthy eating exercises. It’s extremely interesting to see what certain fast food addicts do with certain dietary changes in their life.
The whole process is over within just twelve days but just wait until you see the results….
BBC Story about Low Carb Dieting
I decided to include this video as it was the subject of an online argument one of my friends had a few months back. Personally both myself and my friend both agreed it was a good eating healthy documentary but others apparently do not!
What we do know for certain is the BBC don’t just release any old rubbish – it’s a great institution.
The argument revolved around a ( unnamed ) man claiming the video was completely out of date – the documentary was originally released about three years back!
Anyway he claimed the new paradigm is high fat (not vegetable oils) with low to moderate protein and very low carbohydrates. Now I would agree with some aspects of this but I’m afraid not all. There is a great deal of misinformation out there so beware of what you listen to.
Anyway check out the documentary yourself and see what you think….
How to live to be 100+ Dan Buettner
I included this eating healthy documentary purely down to my own interest in it. I’ve not really heard that much on Dan Buettner before coming across this video but I had heard a reasonable amount on the world’s Blue Zones.
These Blue Zones are near enough untouched communities that live disease free lives until a very old age. The concept is that these societies are eating the correct types of food for extended lifespan!
I’ve heard a lot about the subject before but I felt this Dan Buettner does a much better job than I could ever do explaining it!
As you can see this documentary is only just under 20 minutes long so it really is worth watching. Some of the statistics really are jaw dropping!
If you have found ( or filmed ) any food documentaries online then please join in with this subject. Feel free to link to them in the comment section below!
Thanks for watching and stay healthy!
